Silverspring, May 7, 2008

Dear Santaclausians and Friends of Adisadel,

Invitation to 4th Annual Congress and 24th Dinner Dance of Adisadel Old Boys Association – North America

We wish to invite you to the fourth annual Congress of the Adisadel Old Boys Association in North America, being held in Washington DC, on Memorial Day weekend from Friday May 23rd to Sunday May 25th, 2008.

As you well know, this is the largest gathering of Santaclausians to date outside the school and will give you the opportunity to personally participate in discussions on the upcoming 2010 Centenary, our fundraising efforts and also day-to-day matters of the School. We shall have a mammoth fundraising session towards the construction of the Centenary Resource Complex. The recent incident in Ghana and its impact on discipline will also be high on the agenda. We also wish to reward the Headmaster, who will be in attendance, for the tremendous effort he has put in to improve the academic performance, evidenced by the improved exam pass rate from 64% in 2004 to 98.5% in 2007, under his tenure. We really look forward to having you with us. Arrangements are being made yet again for the Headmaster to visit a number of the top high schools in Maryland and Virginia and meet with their principals to explore ways of engaging in collaborative programs between their schools and Adisadel College.

Let us not forget Adisadel on the Hill – which nurtured our dreams, aspirations and dauntless resolve and has enabled us to reach such heights in our personal lives. It is time to give back to Adisadel. It is time to adorn the school with the resources that are critical to rebuild its image and infrastructure. It is time to labor so that others share in that glory. Let’s not forget where we came from.

Long Live Adisco.

I do hope to read or hear from you soon. My personal cell phone number is 301-806-5980.

Yours truly,

George M. Arthur
